Evan Lancashire “E.L.” Blackburn is the pen name for the writer who workshopped chapters of his debut novel at the Napa Valley Writers Conference, the Bay Area’s Lit Camp, the Martha’s Vineyard Creative Writers Institute, the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, and Grub Street’s nine-month Novel Generator, with inspiration from craft classes at Bread Loaf and the Sewanee Writers’ Conference. He lives in Los Angeles.
